Every time Emily Ratajkowski leaves her house, I fully believe she deserves a gold star for the way she makes even the most basic of pieces just look so effortlessly cool. She’s practically turned the monotonous task of walking your dog into its own category of street style at this point, causing me to look down at my own thrown-together outfit and shake my head in disappointment.

The part of her very good outfits that I admire most is her sneaker collection. Her affinity for off-duty styles have me wanting to ditch anything with a platform for the rest of my life. I’ll follow her lead, soles planted firmly on the ground. And among the sneakers EmRata keeps on rotation, one takes the crown for her most beloved style: Nike’s Classic Cortez.

She’s been wearing the retro-style sneakers for years with everything from dresses to jeans, and right now, you can get the already affordable Nikes on sale at Zappos for 25 percent off — meaning they’re only $52.

If EmRata’s repeated outings throughout the years have proven anything, it’s that the iconic sneaker is as durable as it is stylish. Designed with an all-leather exterior and a bold Nike swoosh, the Cortez is instantly recognizable. What’s more, the sneakers have a breathable mesh lining that’s comfortable for year-round wear. And while it comes in multiple colorways, Ratajkowski’s crisp white and black ones go with everything.

The usual price tag of the Nike sneaker sits at $70 — making it a super affordable option compared to many celeb-approved styles — but its current discount at Zappos makes it all the more impressive, not to mention the best time to add it to your own sneaker collection.
