For flawless skin
A brightening face scrub, a hydrating blush—this pro-picked kit is all you need to get a healthy, glowy complexion.
RoC Multi Correxion Lift Anti-Gravity Daily Moisturizer SPF 30 ($30; Walgreens)
This lightweight moisturizer—with UVA and UVB protection—is infused with magnesium, zinc, and copper. And the results wowed us: "Skin looks smoother and dewier even without makeup," explains Lisa M. Donofrio, MD, the derm on our panel.
($15; Clinique counters)
Here’s something to smile about: This jumbo crayon is actually an ultra-moisturizing lip balm that delivers the perfect dose of color—never too much, never too little. And the vibrant hues (watermelon, grape, cherry) are as fresh and fun as the twist-stick applicator. Crayons for grown-ups!
A true do-it-all foundation, this standout controls a shiny T-zone, is super-moisturizing, and gives a healthy glow—without feeling heavy. It passed the perfect-coverage test, too: When makeup artist Suzy Gerstein, one of our judges, tried this foundation for a TV-commercial shoot, it blended in seamlessly. "It’s so lightweight, you can’t see it—not even in high-def," she says.
This scrub can be concocted to your liking: Either mix a little of the water-activated powder into your cleanser for daily buffing or apply it as a weekly mask (just add water). Either way, it’s incredibly gentle and will leave your skin luminous, Dr. Donofrio says.
This ideal cream blush makes you look dewy but not overdone. And it’s so silky and hydrating, it blendsright into skin for that perfectly subtle glow. Simply pat blush on the apples of your cheeks, and blend any remaining color out to your temples, Gerstein advises.
For big beautiful eyes
A do-it-all palette that gives you just what you need: three totally wearable shadows, a highlighter, and a liner. "Combine the lighter shades with liner for a natural look, or try all five colors to create the ultimate smoky eye," Gerstein suggests. You don’t have to be an expert either: It comes with illustrations (think: paint by numbers!) for a flawless application.
Sally Hansen Brows That Wow Diamond Slant-Tip Tweezer ($14; drugstores)
Tame brows without running the risk of overplucking. "The curved handle and precision-slant tip mean you remove just the hairs you want without irritating skin with repeated attempts," Gerstein explains.
Perfectly groomed brows are one of the best accessories to any fabulous makeup look.
Want fuller fringe? Check out this mascara: It thickens in a single swipe, while conditioning pro-vitamins help nourish and grow lashes. Best part? "All you need is one coat for a gorgeous, clump-free application," Gerstein says.
Try this waterproof (and mistake-proof) gel liner—it goes on with one swipe. "It also allows you to achieve the dramatic look of liquid liner, with a lot more control," Gerstein says.
This took first prize for its winning formula and applicator: The rollerball de-puffs, brightens, and "dispenses just the right amount," Dr. Donofrio notes.
Shiseido Makeup Natural Finish Cream Concealer ($25; sephora.com)
No caking, no creasing, and it lasts all day. This standout cover-up hides dark circles, blemishes, and dullness in a dab. It’s densely pigmented, so it covers like a dream, Gerstein says. Plus, a little goes a long way.
Finally help for those pesky under-eye circles! Our makeup guru (and beauty awards judge) tells you her best tricks for concealing the darkness.
($20; Neiman Marcus)
What makes this lash curler a must-buy? It doesn’t pinch! "The design works on all eye shapes—almond, deep-set, close-set," Gerstein explains. "Even those with hooded lids get a painless curl from this; just be sure to pull up on the lid and place the curler at the roots of lashes."
For amazing hair
Want a salon-perfect mane every day? Enlist these trusty strand savers, handpicked by our pro.
Ojon Restorative Conditioner ($25; sephora.com)
Ojon’s nourishing formulas are a favorite among stylists. (Thank you, Ojon oil!) This fab find makes damaged strands—from the sun, heat stylers, or chemical treatments—silky. "Hair looks and feels healthy after a few treatments," Maciques says.
Rusk W8less Dryer ($166; Ulta)
Say good-bye to sore shoulders and arm cramps while styling. This less-than- a-pound dryer makes for pain-free blowouts and is infused with tourmaline to reduce frizz. Enough said!
Pureology Colour Stylist AntiSplitBlowDry ($28; pureology.com for salon locations)
Frizz? What frizz? Apply this heat protector before blow-drying—it’s like putting on a humidity-resistant barrier! The unique mix of olive, camelina, and coriander oils "add moisture and major shine," says celebrity stylist Juan Carlos Maciques, our panel’s hair pro.
There’s a shampoo for every concern out there, but this one successfully tackles almost all of them. It nourishes strands to mend breakage and boost volume and shine. "Damaged hair looks fuller after one wash," Maciques says.
All hairbrushes are not created equal. Maciques was enamored with this perfect combo of heat-resistant nylon and boar bristles. (Nylon smooths; boar bristles add shine and lift.) When he tried it on his A-list clients, "it nixed frizz and added shine," Maciques confides.
($4; beauty-supply stores)
Tired of hair color fading or turning brassy? Who isn’t! This permanent dye covers pesky grays and won’t go dull for weeks. It’s enriched with soy, which strengthens and conditions, so hair won’t look dry or damaged post-coloring.
For a gorgeous body

Jergens Overnight Repair Nightly Restoring Moisturizer ($7; drugstores)
Slather on this non-greasy antioxidant-rich body lotion before bed to hydrate and calm your skin. "The evening primrose nourishes and soothes irritated skin," Dr. Donofrio notes.
Aveeno Positively Nourishing Antioxidant-Infused Body Wash with Blackberry + Vanilla ($7; drugstores)
An antioxidant-rich wash that’s so hydrating, "it can double as your cleanser and moisturizer," Dr. Donofrio says. That it leaves skin subtly scented with delicious vanilla doesn’t hurt either.
Chock-full of free radical fighters and skin-smoothing olive oil, "this lightweight self-tanner leaves skin moisturized with a natural bronze (not orange!) glow," Dr. Donofrio says. Bonus points: It goes on streak-free and has a great raspberry scent.
Can’t sport the latest polish trend because of chipped tips? Keratin and hydrolyzed wheat protein in this base coat strengthen nails and stop splitting and peeling. "Nails are longer and healthier in three weeks," Gerstein says.
No need to dry off before reapplying this sweat- and waterproof UV-ray blocker. "It’s the first sunscreen made to be applied to wet skin, and the lightweight formula offers the ultimate UVA and UVB protection," Dr. Donofrio notes.
Schick Quattro for Women Disposables in Raspberry Rain ($8; drugstores)
Why did this razor win over the MD on our panel? "The head moves with your curves, so it’s easier to get all the tricky spots like ankles and behind the knees nick-free," Dr. Donofrio says. It also garnered points for its spa touch: The handle is infused with a delish berry fragrance!
This paraben- and sulfate-free scrub does more than get your skin smooth—green tea extract helps relax you, too. "The sea salt polishes gently," Dr. Donofrio explains. It’s all you need to turn an ordinary shower into an at-home spa.
