Experience

Megan Griffo has been a journalist for more than 10 years with a focus on social impact, mental health, and disability. In 2014, Megan helped launch TheMighty.com, a site designed to share person-centric health information while providing a platform for people to share their stories. At The Mighty, Megan built a contributor network of more than 12,000 people sharing stories about mental and physical health, disability, rare disease, and more.

As a fitness instructor, Megan promotes body neutrality and remains dedicated to sharing reliable fitness information to promote longevity and mental wellness.

Megan is currently writing her first novel.

As a person with chronic pain, I believe information is one of our most powerful assets. I feel passionately about providing others with accurate, accessible, inclusive information so they can feel empowered to make decisions about their health.

Education

Megan has a Bachelor of Science degree in magazine journalism from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communication at Syracuse University. She is also an ACE Certified Group Fitness Instructor.
