Experience

Lindsay Curtis is a freelance health & medical writer in South Florida. Prior to becoming a freelancer, she worked as a communications professional for health nonprofits and the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Medicine and Faculty of Nursing. Her work has appeared in many mediums, including blogs, social media, magazines, reports, brochures and web content.

Lindsay has written hundreds of articles on a variety of health and medical topics, including arthritis, cancer, mental health, substance use disorders, nutrition, LGBTQ+ health, adolescent health, and pregnancy.

I developed a love of writing at the age of 7 and have been deeply interested in all things health and medical-related for as long as I can remember. As a first-generation college graduate, I pride myself on my ability to take complex medical information and turn it into engaging, accessible health content for the general public.

Education

Lindsay has a Bachelor of Arts in Communications & Media from York University in Toronto, Ontario. She is also a certified end-of-life doula.
