Eat a healthy diet
There's no strong scientific evidence linking diet and psoriasis, but eating a balanced diet can't hurt. Go with healthful whole grains, fruits and vegetables, lean proteins and unsaturated fats. "It's always good to have a healthy diet no matter what you're up against," says Lawrence Green, MD, a dermatologist in the Washington, DC area. "It's going to help whatever you have. It's one less thing your body needs to worry about."
