This energy ball recipe was created by tennis legend Martina Navratilova. "I make these from a mixture of figs, nuts, sesame seeds, and oatmeal—uncooked and organic," says Navratilova. "They keep me going at matches, where sometimes you still find players drinking sodas, of all things, and I snack on them before and during a workout." And these little bursts of healthy energy aren't just for pro athletes. They're easy to make and can give an energy boost to anyone who has a hectic schedule (sports legend or otherwise). Navratilova says you can use any nut you like, whether it's almonds, peanuts, walnuts, pecans, or pine nuts. Watch this video to learn how to make Martina's energy balls for yourself. Finally, roll them in coconut, and you're done. Game, set, match! Was this page helpful? Thanks for your feedback! Tell us why! Other Submit
