As if we needed another reason to love avocados, Kourtney Kardashian is now endorsing our favorite fruit—but not for its taste. The reality star shared her secret to healthy and shiny hair on her app and website, and it involves smothering your mane in a guacamole-like blend.

“My amazing hair stylist Andrew Fitzsimons and I came up with a recipe we’re calling a hair smoothie,” she wrote, teeing up a cute clip of the duo. “Andrew does my hair pretty much every day,” she says.

“I was intrigued by the smoothies that she was drinking, and I created a hair smoothie, an avocado hair smoothie,” Fitzsimons says. “It’s a natural detangler.”

To copy Kardashian’s secret weapon, blend 1 1/2 avocados with 2 tablespoons olive oil, 2 tablessons Manuka honey (Kardsashian's favorite "miracle food"), and the juice of ½ a lemon. Coat your locks with the natural treatment, comb it through, and leave in for 45 minutes for a stronger, smoother, and shinier mane.
