Life as you know it is about to change.

Not to brag, but I like to think I have a few useful talents that help me get through everyday life. Unfortunately, wielding a brush and a hair dryer at the same time is not one of them. I've always marveled at women who show up to work or school every morning looking like they've just come fresh from the salon—strands shiny, bouncy...perfect. Mine usually get thrown into a slick low ponytail or messy bun (and I mean really messy) because I cannot deal.

I've tried a bunch of different tools and gadgets promising easy styling but in the end my hair issues seem to boil down to one thing—I need to start with a solid blowout. Recently I was tipped off to the new Revlon Salon One-Step Hair Dryer and Volumizer ($60; The answer to the prayers of my uncoordinated hands, it's a brush and blow dryer in one, with a shape that makes it incredibly easy to get a smooth and speedy blowout at home.

For the record, I have thick, wavy hair that takes forever to dry, even when a pro is styling it for me. Not only does this bad boy leave my hair glossy, it also dries it in a flash (ionic technology for the win!). And because of the oval shape of the brush, it's super easy to blow dry the hair at the back of my head. In all honesty, that's an area I had basically given up on—if I can't see it, it's not there, right? Right?

What sweetens the deal even more is that it is totally accessible with a price point just under 60 bucks, which basically amounts to the cost of one and a half professional blowouts.

But in this scenario, you can have a good hair day every day. I'm sold.
