Geralyn Dexter, LMHC

Geralyn began working in the mental health field in 2011. As a therapist, she's served in various mental health settings, including outpatient, community-based, and telehealth environments. Previously, she was a co-chair for the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance's (DBSA) Young Adult Council. In addition, Geralyn was featured in DBSA's Young Adult Podcast Series.

Geralyn started writing mental health and wellness-related content in 2013. As a staff writer at GenTwenty, Geralyn wrote articles about self-care and self-improvement geared toward people navigating their twenties. At HealthyPlace.com, Geralyn wrote and published articles related to managing bipolar disorder.

Geralyn has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Florida and a Masters of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University.
