This Full-Body Workout Does It All

Believe it: This 20-minute full-body routine from Contributing Editor Petra Kolber—with six- and nine-month fitness boosts—is the only workout you’ll ever need. Just repeat two or three times a week and combine these moves with 30 minutes of cardio, three times a week.

All of these workout plans are interesting too, etc.

  • I like the fact that these exercises are multi-dimensional. We are finally moving away from the old & ineffective bodybuilding type exercises where we focused on bodyparts instead of looking at the body as an integrated whole.

Obviously it was outside the scope of the article, but I would add some form of aerobic training for the cardio-vascular system, some mobility/flexibility training to avoid muscle imbalances and some anaerobic training - http://healthhabits.wordpress.com/2008/06/09/4-steps-to-a-great-hiit-workout/ - for the heart and fat loss.

Looking forward to your next article Petra.
