The American Cancer Society conducts educational programs and offers many services to people with cancer and to their families. Staff at the toll-free numbers have information about services and activities in local areas and can provide referrals to local ACS divisions.

The American Melanoma Foundation (AMF) is a charitable, nonprofit organization that funds research on melanoma. AMF also provides education to the public on melanoma prevention and supports melanoma patients and their families.

This free telephone service is provided by the National Cancer Institute (NCI) to cancer patients, their families, the public, and health professionals. They may provide referral to local resources and services, and will send cancer information on request. CIS also provides information on clinical trials. Information is provided in English and Spanish.
