Adjuvant Therapy for Cancer

Adjuvant therapy is treatment given after cancer surgery to increase the chances of a cure by destroying microscopic areas of remaining cancer. Adjuvant therapy may include chemotherapy, radiation therapy, hormonal therapy, or a combination of these treatments.
