Why do you think hair loss is such a big deal for women?

Karen lost her hair three weeks after her first chemo treatment and went to pick up the wig she'd ordered ahead of time—as a woman with hair. Seeing herself in the mirror was too much for her. She saw herself as a person with cancer for the first time.
