Finding time to exercise is tough. Fortunately, there have been a slew of studies on the most effective exercise strategies for people with type 2 diabetes (yes, it’s that important that researchers everywhere are looking for ways to help you get a workout). Nancy wasn’t getting enough exercise. Then she starting using one well-known strategy—working out with a friend. Now she’s getting out of bed every day at 6:30 a.m. to get in a three- to four-mile walk with her buddy.
