Did you feel guilty after a diabetes diagnosis?
It’s not uncommon to say “What did I do?” when you’re first diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. You may feel guilty or think that you did something wrong. While excess weight and a sedentary lifestyle can dramatically increase your risk of type 2 diabetes, genes and others factors also play a role (not all people who are overweight develop diabetes and not all people with type 2 diabetes are overweight).
