Fibromyalgia sufferers will tell you that they hurt. Often they hurt all over. They have pain in their muscles, ligaments, tendons, and joints, as well as back and neck, and tenderness when certain spots on the body are pressed.

Often they have no energy. And when they go to sleep to recover, it doesn't help. They wake up completely unrefreshed.

"I would feel like I got hit by a truck when I woke up in the morning," says Phyllis Talarico, 61, of Yorba Linda, Calif. "I just felt like somebody had beat the tar out of me. I felt like I had a hangover. I would have to set my alarm an extra hour earlier, because it would take me that much time to properly wake up."
