Be aware of side effects

Some medications can trigger or aggravate psoriasis. These include lithium (used to treat bipolar disorder), beta-blockers (for heart problems), and nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) such as aspirin. Check with your doctor or pharmacist to make sure the medications you're taking aren't worsening your psoriasis. And talk to your doctor before starting any new medications.
