That may change with the looming debut of eplivanserin, which doesnt cause next-day grogginess or rebound insomnia when you stop using it, studies suggest.

The drug seems to improve sleep duration and fend off nighttime wake-ups, and it may be approved by the Federal Drug Administration this year.
