On the one hand, you know that any time you're feeling under the weather a little rest can go a long way in helping you feel better. On the other, isn't exercise supposed to boost immunity? The good news is you can use your symptoms as a guide to help you decide whether to slip into your workout gear or stay cozied up in bed.

One more tip: No matter what your symptoms are, start with 5 to 10 minutes of a low-intensity activity. If you feel better keep at it. If you feel worse stop.
