Earlier this year Taylor had her own gym mishap while listening to Drake and Future’s hit “Jumpman” for an Apple Music commercial, so it only seems fair that Drake would return the favor.
In a video that’s sure to add fuel to the rumor flames, Drake has lip synced to Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood” for an Apple Music commercial and it’s just too much.
It’s been heavily speculated that the Canadian rapper and Ms. Swift are either romantically involved or working on music together (or both). All it stems from the fact that Taylor was photographed at Drake’s birthday party back in October.
Well, given that earlier this year Taylor had her own gym mishap while listening to Drake and Future’s hit “Jumpman” for an Apple Music commercial, it only seems fair that Drake would return the favor.
Premiering during last night’s American Music Awards, the clip sees Drake take on a bench press while getting his life to Taylor’s “Bad Blood.”
O-M-G! This is too funny. We love the bit with Drake in front of the mirror. We know that we’ve TOTALLY done some pretty awks dance moves to Taylor’s music, too.
Taylor also shared the video on Instagram, shouting out to Drake.
We love that Drake takes on the bench press and totally loses. It’s just too much. However, we’re not sure it’s better than Taylor wiping out on the running machine…
Both Drake and Taylor have worked exclusively with Apple Music in the past. Drizzy initially released his latest album, Views, exclusively through the streaming service before making it available on competitors.
Similarly, Taylor Swift has made her back catalogue exclusively available to stream on Apple Music after figuring out a disagreement with the tech giant over royalty payments.
Whether the fact that this commercial confirms that Drake and Taylor have been working together is yet to be seen, but we’re going to be lolling at Drake’s rendition of “Bad Blood” for the foreseeable future.
